We have a NAPA store in our main shop, so most comes from them. They get some parts from the Internation, CAT, Cummins, Bus spec and various other suppliers.
we have a lot of IH busses so we go through the local IH dealer or else theres a company in albertsville mn, www.midwestbusparts.com that we get stuff from them to. very reasonable prices. we also get some stuff from local venders
Our shop is set with one OEM to order online from their distribution center for direct ship to the shop. We also use bus parts suppliers, both online and by phone. For parts for our support units we use jobbers in the area. By using multiple suppliers we can get the right parts at the best prices. I have found that finding the best price for name brand parts is more economical in the long run. The cost of white box parts could be disaster down the road.
